JAZZCAMP FOR GIRLS STOCKHOLM 2025
What is it?
JazzCamp for Girls aims at increasing the girls' interest in playing and composing music. The project offers a unique opportunity for girls who want to try working with composition and improvisation, no matter the choice of instrument or previous experience. By creating a safe space through music, participants will gain new skills and be inspired by learning about – and playing alongside – pioneering women in the jazz industry.

Who is it for?
The camp is designed for girls aged between 10 – 15 years old with little or no experience of improvising. All instruments and vocalists are welcome.
When & where?
The camp will take place in Stockholm, at Kulturskolan Resurscenter i Linde (in Globen) - Veterinärgränd 6, 121 63 Johanneshov, across Monday 11th and Wednesday 13th August 2025, from 10.00 am to 04.00 pm.
The camp will end with a final show at Stockholm Stad Kulturfestival stage in Kungsträdgården (K12), Thursday 14th of August, at 12.00 pm.
Fee
Subscription fee: 300kr
Number of participants and Deadline
There are 16 places available. The subscription criteria is “first come first served”. The deadline for sending subscriptions is the 8th of August 2025
