MATERA DREAMING
Included on the Suoni dal Futuro Remoto program – Matera Italy 2019 European Capital of Culture : Nils Berg Cinemascope (SE) composed and performed “Matera Dreaming“.
The jazz group Nils Berg Cinemascope (Sweden) traveled to Matera in Italy to create a site specific performance, using sounds and pictures from the city in Basilicata. An hour of new music was created. By, with and about the people, sounds, buildings and streets of the ancient city. The result is a beautiful homage to the city itself and the people that inhabit it, all seen through the eyes of a curious foreigner.
